This review is based on the second edition of this book, which is now available in paperback form. This review includes my impressions of the first edition.This book has been redesigned for the 21st century reader by the author, Jonathan Levin. He worked with a designer and editor to revamp this book and make it more appealing to the way we read and understand science today. The author, Jonathan Levin, wanted to introduce this book to the world of readers that are either learning a second language or have not yet had the opportunity to learn a second language themselves.When it comes to learning a new language it can be a challenge. It is important to take the time and effort to learn the language. Learning a new language can be intimidating. You want to feel at ease with the language so that you are able to speak and write with ease.Jonathan Levin decided to create this new edition of Organic Chemistry, Second Language for an adult or child. He felt that it was important to have an improved edition of the book that was targeted to people who had learned a second language. The goal was to create a reader that was easy to read and understand.Jonathan Levin believed that Organic Chemistry, Second Language should be different from other science books that have been on the market. He believed that this book should be fun and that it would also provide great teaching material for children that have already learned a second language. Jonathan Levin's goal is to provide a new and improved edition of this book that was designed specifically for the uses of adults and children.The materials that this book has for you to use are the same as if you were using a classic, but the presentation of the material is modern science. Jonathan Levin has created a system that will enable you to learn the mat erial very quickly. It will also allow you to learn how to communicate with clarity and ease.In the Organic Chemistry, Second Language the emphasis is on language and pronunciation rather than the science. The material used in the textbook provides explanations of scientific terms that are easily understood by most students. With this text you will have access to concepts that are not taught in more traditional texts and this will be a great way to learn how to use this material in everyday life.The biggest complaint that people have about Organic Chemistry, Second Language is that it is not geared towards the needs of today's parent. The focus of this book is on teaching science and that is what it is all about.
